Hey Mars outlanders, new visitors, lurkers, and anyone who’s ever stared at a blank prompt thinking “where the hell do I even begin?”
This one’s for you.
Minimum Viable Vibe (MVV) is how we do things here.
It’s not a methodology.
It’s not a framework.
It’s literally just one stupid-simple agreement:
Build JUST enough to feel the spark — then throw it into the fire.
No perfect architecture.
No 12-step plan.
No “I’ll clean this up later” procrastination loop.
Just motion.
Here’s the dead-simple loop most of us are actually living:
- Vibe it tiny Describe the feeling/outcome in plain English (or broken English, doesn’t matter). Examples: “make a task list that brutally roasts my excuses”
- “turn my chaotic Notion dump into a prioritized morning 3-item hit list”
- “vibe a retro arcade game where the player is a depressed astronaut” Feed it to Claude / Grok / whatever frontier model you’re flirting with that day.
- Ship the mess fast Copy-paste whatever garbage comes out. Run it (even if it crashes hilariously). Screenshot the win / the epic fail / the weird unexpected magic. Time spent: usually under 20 minutes.
- Drop it here Post title + screenshot + one sentence: “What broke? What slaps? Help me fix / upgrade / roast this.” Then watch the community pile in — prompt tweaks, brutal honesty, remixes, forks, memes.
Why this feels stupidly good (even when it sucks at first):
- Zero gatekeeping — beginners vibe-code working mini-apps in 15 minutes.
- Momentum beats perfection — one tiny dopamine hit snowballs into real projects (Altitude didn’t start elegant either).
- Community alchemy — your half-baked agent becomes someone else’s rocket fuel.
- Forgetting the code exists — you chase the vibe, not syntax wars.
Real talk:
Most of my best stuff started as posts exactly like this — ugly, half-working, embarrassing screenshots included.
The magic happened in the replies.
So here’s the invitation:
Grab the dumbest / smallest / most cursed idea in your head right now.
Vibe the tiniest possible version of it today.
Screenshot whatever comes out (win or hilarious disaster).
Post it below.
I’ll be the first to reply with love + brutal feedback + prompt upgrades.
Who’s starting right now?
Drop your first MVV below — title it however you want, just start.
No pressure.
No judgment.
Just vibes.
